Our dining room

The restaurant L'Escale, located at the heart of La Lignière, features a dining room dedicated to patients, a tea room, and a terrace. This inviting space is open to everyone: patients, relatives, and visitors, providing a place where everyone can dine and relax in a pleasant atmosphere.

As a healthcare facility catering to rehabilitation and psychiatry patients, our food concept is designed to adhere to the nutritional principles emphasized during our consultations and courses.

We also take into account individual needs for balance and well-being.

The patients dining room

Meals times and locations

We welcome you at the following meal times:

Breakfast - 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM

Lunch - 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

Dinner - 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Depending on your health condition, you may have your meal in your room or at the restaurant.

The menus

During your stay, you can choose your dinner and supper menus from our offerings :

2 dinner menu options,
1 unique menu for supper,
alternative choices are available for each meal.

In line with our food concept, all Monday menus are exclusively vegetarian.

After your dinner and supper, you can help yourself to a hot beverage from the self-service machine.

Dietary restrictions :

We will take into account any allergies and food intolerances mentioned in your medical record. Each meal will be automatically adjusted accordingly. During your stay, our dietitians can modify your diet based on your health condition.

Dining with your relatives

Sharing a meal with one or more loved ones is possible by reservation with the dining team, subject to availability.

Please reserve your table with the restaurant at least 24 hours in advance, and by Friday evening for weekend meals.

The Tea-Room et la Terrace

The Tea Room and Terrace are open:

From 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM from Sunday to Friday
From 2:00 PM to 7:15 PM on Saturdays and Sundays

Orders and payments are made at the bar until 15 minutes before the Tea Room closes.

Please note that the Tea Room and Terrace are non-smoking areas. We kindly ask you not to move the furniture in these spaces and to adhere to the instructions and reminders from our teams to ensure everyone's safety and well-being.

SOLIDARITY SATURDAYS

Every Saturday, payments for items consumed at the Tea Room (reduced menu) are accepted as donations to fund humanitarian projects.

La Lignière allocates all donations to associations dedicated to public health initiatives.

For instance, we support organizations providing healthcare in Ukraine and promoting socialization among the elderly in the Canton of Vaud, among other causes.
