Diabetes affects many people. Our outpatient Diafood program is designed for those suffering from type 2 diabetes, helping them manage their diet and improve their quality of life.
Our outpatient Diafood program aims to improve your well-being by helping you how to manage better your diabetes.
The program consists of four workshops, spread over several weeks.
IN GLAND :
Spring Program : Mondays, March 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Autumn Program : Thursdays, October 31, November 7, 21, and 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
IN CRISSIER :
Spring Program : Mondays, May 29, June 5, 12, and 19, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Program content
Our dietitians address essential aspects of nutrition for people with Type 2 Diabetes:
Starting off right: The importance and necessity of eating in the morning. How to compose the first meal of the day.
How to compose your lunch and dinner.
Maintaining your energy throughout the day: The role of snacks.
Special meals: How to eat during picnics, cold meals, or manage single-dish meals.
Group discussions and activities will allow you to find solutions tailored to your personal situation and share your challenges.
Personalized support for our outpatient programs
We offer personalized support and a holistic approach to health. Our multidisciplinary team will assess your health condition without judgment to determine together the necessary adjustments for you to follow our program.
Rates and refund
The Diafood Program consultations are reimbursed by LAMal (Swiss compulsory health insurance).
In case of cancellation, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any late cancellation or no-show will incur an invoice of CHF 45.-.
